ON THEIR OWN TERMS INCLUDES WORK BY MWS
Marjorie is elated to announce that two of her works are included in the exhibition: ON THEIR OWN TERMS which is on display at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This exhibit showcases the work of African American artists past and present, including: Elizabeth Catlett, Romare Bearden, Kehinde Wiley, Amy Sherald and Aj Smith, to name a few.

The exhibition runs from January 17 - March 10th, 2019. An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, February 1, 2019, 5-7:00 p.m.

NEW SILVERPOINT BOOK AVAILABLE & INCLUDES MWS DRAWING
Marjorie is honored to have her drawing LINES included in the book Silverpoint and Metalpoint Drawing: A Complete Guide to the Medium which has just been released. This book is authored by Susan Schwalb and Tom Mazzullo, two expert artists in this medium.

MWS IS NAMED 2019 GOVERNOR'S ARTS AWARD RECIPIENT
Marjorie is honored to announce that she has been named the recipient of the 2019 GOVERNOR'S ARTS AWARD, in the INDIVIDUAL ARTIST category. These awards, given in eight categories, recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the arts in Arkansas. An awards ceremony will take place in March of 2019.

MWS ACCEPTED INTO REGIONAL ARTIST PROGRAM
Marjorie is happy to announce that she has been accepted into the Crystal Bridges Museum Store Regional Artist Program. (Crystal Bridges is located in Bentonville, Arkansas.) This program showcases work created by artists from Arkansas and the six states touching Arkansas. Marjorie now has notecards for sale in the Museum Store! The cards feature Marjorie's metalpoint drawings.

If you live in the Little Rock, Arkansas area Marjorie's cards are available in two locations: Hearne Fine Art and the Arkansas Arts Center.
