MWS APPEARED IN LOCAL TV SEGMENT
Marjorie had the honor of appearing on KARK TV, Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 30, 2019. The segment featured the Arkansas Arts Council and the Governor's Arts Awards. Marjorie was the Individual Artist Award recipient this year. During the segment Marjorie shared her thoughts on this award and showed several of her drawings. MWS IS ONE OF 10 ARTISTS FEATURED IN NEW FILM
Marjorie is one of ten artists featured in the new film DELTA 60. This film was created by Matthew Rowe for the Arkansas Arts Center (AAC) and highlights Arkansas artists that were in the 60th Delta Exhibition, held in 2018. The film premiered at the Arts Center on June 28, 2019 and coincided with the closing of the AAC as it prepares for extensive renovations over the next two years.

MWS IS NAMED 2019 GOVERNOR'S ARTS AWARD RECIPIENT
Marjorie is honored to announce that she has been named the recipient of the 2019 GOVERNOR'S ARTS AWARD, in the INDIVIDUAL ARTIST category. These awards, given in eight categories, recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the arts in Arkansas.

Marjorie is honored to have her drawing LINES included in the book Silverpoint and Metalpoint Drawing: A Complete Guide to the Medium which has just been released. This book is authored by Susan Schwalb and Tom Mazzullo, two expert artists in this medium.
